Malware affects 26,000 customers

The breach has comprised the personal details of as many as 26,000 Debenhams Flowers customers. The online portal was targeted by malware and data such as names, addresses and payment details will have been accessed or stolen.

Debenhams said in a statement that customers of its main site at debenhams.com have not been affected.

The incident has been reported to the Information Commissioner’s Office which upholds the Data Protection Act in the United Kingdom.
